The Anxiety and Depression Association of America pledges to share the Five Signs of emotional suffering with 500 people. Founded in 1979, The Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) is an international nonprofit organization and a leader in education, training, and research for anxiety, OCD, PTSD, depression, and related disorders. ADAA supports public health by leading the way, improving the lives of millions of children and adults and promoting professional and public awareness of anxiety, depression related disorders. ADAA encourages the advancement of scientific knowledge about causes and treatment of anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and related disorders by working with its mental health professional member base and the broader scientific community. ADAA links people who need treatment with the health care professionals who provide it, find appropriate treatment and develop self-help skills. ADAA works to reduce the stigma surrounding anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and related disorders.
