Los Angeles Board of Supervisors issue a Proclamation to Change Direction

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors issued a proclamation on May 2nd- proclaiming the day to be a country-wide “Day to Change Direction for Mental and Emotional Well-Being”. The proclamation encouraged dialogue about mental health and well-being. It also recognized efforts at over 200 events across the country that engaged, educated, and inspired participants during a day of service that focused on serving vulnerable populations in Los Angeles County.
Change Direction would like to thank the County Board of Supervisors: Hilda L. Solis, Mark Ridley-Thomas, Sheila Kuehl, Janice Hahn, and Kathryn Barger as well as Dr. Jonathan Sherin, Director of the Department of Mental Health, for their critical support to Change Direction in Los Angeles.
